If you've never been to an Ellementa Gathering before, you may not know how our Gatherings are very different from other cannabis events out there. This is not a lecture, this is not a business networking event. This is a vibrant, exciting, dynamic and personal sharing of wisdom and experiences.
Join us at this Ellementa Women's Wellness Gathering for empowering knowledge & conversation!
This month, we’re talking about cannabis and CBD for Beauty and Self-Care.
--> What does cannabis have to do with beauty or self-care?
--> What benefits does cannabis or CBD in beauty products have?
--> How does one integrate cannabis or CBD into a self-care ritual?
--> What are the best cannabis- or CBD-infused beauty products on the market?
We'll answer these questions and more at this Gathering.
If you want to gain better knowledge about what is in the cannabis plant and how those compounds interact with your body so you can identify what you need to feel better, this Gathering is for YOU.
It's time to make something!
This is a Makers Event where we take Cannabis and Beauty to the next level. Our Women-Centric wisdom will help us make CBD Bath Salts. Plastic Conscious? Bring your own jar to take home your creation!

Bounce Back To Relax: A CBD Yoga Fusion Experience
I was so excited to launch CBD Fusion Yoga at Bounce Back Fitness in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This is the fitness studio that I used when I was having difficulty walking years ago. The owner Phill has a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and doesn't just push you to work out to look good! He helps you strengthen where you are weak so you can operate at full capacity. He teamed with me to bring CBD to the local community.
Before and after class, Want A Smoothie had a vast array of healthy juices and the custom, RxMaryJade hempseed smoothie. Delicious and nutritious!
Only select CBD vendors were allowed at the event. Core Roots is a company I support personally. The owner, Cory, began is own CBD brand to help support those in need. Green Passions Industries are a group of CBD educators and activists that offer a wide array of products. From gummies to water to pet treats, GPI has almost everything CBD!
The Center for Inner Transformations also had a table for participants to ask mental health questions as well as purchase Lock & Key CBD products. It was great to allow the community exposure to education and proper CBD products.
Can't wait for you to join us next time!

Rx MaryJade Presents: CBD Brunch Conversations with Jessie Gill, RN & Sonia Singh, MSW,LCSW,LCADC
By Lacey Jay Yanelli of The Lacey Project

Sunday, Medical Cannabis personality, activist, and cannaprenuer RX Mary Jade held her first public brunch and educational lecture.
Alongside her was CannaMommy, Jessie Gill and The Happy Therapist herself, Sonia Singh. The three women gave brief backgrounds on themselves and how cannabis has changed their lives and compelled them to advocate for access and acceptance by reducing the stigma through education.
All the women exuded confidence and conviction during their time speaking. Each woman passionate about their work in the ever-growing cannabis world. Hearing personal stories about how their lives were dramatically changed by the use of cannabis made the crowded event seem more personal.
Each story shared was relatable. Being and patient and a mother, I know exactly how it feels to feel looked over or judged, but I also know how much more painful and difficult my life is without cannabis and how relieved I was to hear that there are mental health professionals who won't look down on a patient who chooses to medicate with cannabis and is willing to work with them on that journey to health and wellness with the help of CBD products.
The information was provided to the audience, most of which were older than I was expecting, honestly, was given in a way that was easy to understand and not intimidating. The speakers seemed to welcome conversation and questions after the lectures were over and the general vibe was laid back and social. People were shaking hands and talking about their cannabis use, many of which seemed to be relieved to have a public forum to discuss their personal cannabis use.
Attendees ranged in age from young to old, from the chronically and terminally ill, to those just looking to enhance or maintain their health. Seeing cannabis bridge some of these major gaps and connecting people who may not have connected otherwise was really exciting and heartwarming. Especially now, when it seems like the country is split in half over war, politics and general malcontent.
The event was packed, though honestly, I expected it to be. I was so happy to see such a turn out. My only complaint was the venue seemed too small and understaffed for the event and regular business. I hope moving forward a larger venue will be available and that these types of social lectures will become more common and we near legalization.
I think as events like this continue to happen with more frequency and people with the dedication and ability to educate and advocate continue to spread the word, we’ll see cannabis bring us closer together. Or at least I hope so. Cannabis has the power to heal us mentally, physically and spiritually. Connecting us one by one. Events like this are crucial to the movement and legalization of cannabis. Reducing and maybe even one day eliminating the stigma of cannabis as a medicine, a textile and so much more.
